 In this workshop, you’ll move between a presentation on DJing led by SMALL RAVE’s Fergus Waveforms and a guest DJ, and small-group sessions where you can try the equipment, listen, or observe - whatever feels most comfortable for you.

As part of Auckland Pride Month, we’re stoked to open applications for two SMALL RAVE Pride Residencies.
Each residency includes:
- A weekly 1:1 DJ lesson with Fergus Waveforms, SMALL RAVE’s DJ teacher.
- Free access to the SMALL RAVE DJ practice studio for the full month.
- A guaranteed performance spot at a local gig to celebrate your new skills.
- Ongoing support from the SMALL RAVE network of DJs.

Celebrating Auckland Pride sits naturally within our kaupapa - allowing us to uplift our Rainbow whānau, amplify and celebrating queer talent, and centering the voices and stories that are essential to the cultural fabric of our city. It also honours the communities that have always shaped music, dance culture and nightlife.
