This is a fun swim meet for the Rainbow Swim Teams of NZ (TAMS Auckland, DSW Wellington, Rainbow Waves Christchurch) and their friends and allies. You don't have to be a member to enter.
This swim meet was 1st held in 2012 to celebrate TAMS 20th anniversary and the growing rainbow swim community with DSW (Different Strokes Wellington) having formed in 2011 for the 2nd Outgames (held in Wellington). Every even year TAMS hosts the swim meet in Auckland and every odd year DSW hosts in Wellington. In 2026 we welcome Rainbow Waves, our 3rd NZ Rainbow swim team.
At the swim meet we compete for 2 trophies. The Capital Challenge Shield 4x25 Medley Relay (2 men, 2 women) and the TAMS 20th Anniversary Cup a multi-swimmer x25m free relay. Relays are deck entry on the day.
$30 registration includes pool entry
$25 concession & unwaged
$10 one event entry (can still participate in relays)
Entries close midnight, Sunday 8 February
TAMS members get rego fee refunded in attendance app.
